I get asked all the time for Utah-based referrals to a lawyer, a financial projections specialist, what books to read, a tax guy, etc. I have finally decided with this new blog to create a page where I can send people. The page is called For Entrepreneurs and is one of the tabs above. The URL is http://www.johnrichards.me/for-entrepreneurs.html. Check it out and tell me what you think. If you are a service provider who would like to be listed there, let me know. You'll need to b someone to whom I have referred entrepreneurs in the past and where it has worked out well.

Ash Maurya's Running Lean is a great addition to the ecosystem. I especially like his website/blog at (http://runningleanhq.com/). I need to get into his LeanCanvas tool (http://leancanvas.com/). But, back to your core question. I like how Ash went from Osterwalder's (you misspelled Alex's name) Business Model Canvas to Rob Fitzpatricks's retooling and then his own improvements. I think that Ash's Lean Canvas lends itself especially well to web apps, etc. I intend to become more familiar with it in the near future, too.

John - We would like to be featured on your "For Entrepreneurs" tab of your blog if you would be willing. We can provide a list of references if you don't have any direct experience with us. Kent Thomas would be a good place to start as a reference.
